and now that Mike said it has brand new white w/black piping interior, I'm even more convinced an awesome black paint job is the way to go.

as for our little Beetle i'm relly leaning toward (and would REALLY like to see) black with the scallops like the Stanford drawing with the scallops in silver with a LymeTyme green pinstripe. anyone up for that photochop challenge???

 

i'm not too swift with the photoshop and lack the sofisticated software to do a real "good" photoshop anyway. so what i did was a "SharpieShop"(tm) of what i'd like to see on CherryBlossom's Bug. i did'nt have a Lyme Tyme Green marker (not that it'd show up on black anyway) so i could'nt do the shadow effect in the scallops but this is sorta what i had invisioned.
the final say REALLY is up to CherryBlossom as to how it gets painted, but i can't help but show her my ideas and try to steer her in the direction i'd like to see the Bug go. ultimately i want her to be happy with the results thought so it is her call. we've had and seen alot of good ideas and it'll be a tough choice for her i'm sure.
