Customs Photoshop Poll: Color choice for 1951 Mercury

I was thinking burgundy when I was reading the thread, but nothing tops black. You'll have to wash it a lot, though.

But I guess you'd have to watch a dark burgundy, too. I say black it is.

 

In the time frame we consider the cl***ic era the cars were inspired by the luxury makes of then. Look at Cad, Packard, Lincoln and Imperial colors for ideas. Then add a little bit of metalic. But NOT teal.
