I found this pic of Dan Garlits 1955 dragster on a local hotrodders shop wall. Forgive the low quality of my pic it was taken with my phone's camera and the original is covered with plastic.

 

Damn.......what a neat look at the past.

Back when racing was fun, and you didn't need sponsorships just to fuel the car.

 

"BIG" was checkin' out the HA/GR's at Cordova, maybe he'll drag it out!

 

I believe that is a smile on his face !!!! Great pic. !!! National dragster had some really good pics. of Don a few years ago , of his early years !!!
