    ok truck guys i could use some help. back in the late 70s or early 80s truckin magazine did a story on a yellow chop top 56 f100 called mamas truck.it had pulled in front fenders shortend box it had halibrands on it with slicks on the back.was a badd ass truck for the time any ways iam looking for any pics. or that issue. thanks

    no idea what month or year? I have alot of trucking magazines but not sure if I have what your looking for. At least a year would make the search easier.

    I know Vans&Pickups magazine ended Dec 1979, I got swapped over to HotRod when it did...I think Truckin' ended that year as well, I only have one issue. Was it a yeller truck with red accents, like wrapped around the grill and across the top of the hood with LTD stacked quad headlights and blacked out grill openning? that one always stuck in my head...

  5. I remember that one too, still have that magazine in a box somewhere. Super badass truck. I wonder where it is now?

    I remember that one too. I owned a 55 Effie back then and could only dream of it finished like that.

    PS: What is there, like 1/2" rear suspension travel?!?!
