pic in box?

  1. Can any body get this pic to work in the side box under my name?

  2. First it needs to 80 x 80 pixels. A simple photo editing program can take care of that for you. Add some to the top and bottom to keep it square. Then click on "My Home" at the top of the main index page, scroll to the bottom and click on "edit" for your profile: name, password, etc.. Near the bottom will be a window where you can upload the image to the HAMB server OR list the URL for the image if you have it online somewhere.

    That picture is over 4K.I think the limit is 1K.So you have 2 choices,you can change the resolution to get the file size down below 1K.Or you can get that picture hosted somewhere else,like Starphoto,and then link to it.That's what I do with mine,I find a pic somewhere that I like and just cut and paste the address for the pic.The big advantage is this gets you around the size limit.I've had GIF avatars that were over 30K no problem.

  5. All I get is - We cannot proceed.

    Pic can be no larger than 1000 bytes.

    when I look on "Properties" it's 7.33 KB, isn't that 733 bytes ?
     
  6. just had an other look at properties, 7512 bytes. guess it's not going to happen.

    not much left when you go below 1K, but here it is.
