Great pics, Jeff. Do you, or anybody else, have a pic of a '58 Wagon or sedan delivery showing the roof? I'm trying to find out if the '58 wagons had ribs like the sedans and hardtops.

Thanks Jeff.....guess I coulda figured that search out. Apparently as near as I can tell from pics of 57s and 58s, the wagons both had ribs on the back half.

Thanks. Pretty car!! The reason I was asking is a friend showed me a pic of a '58 sedan delivery he was thinking about buying. It had the '57 round tailights. I knew the '58 Rancheros had the '57 tailights, but had no idea the sedan deliveries were different from the wagons that had the oval p***enger car design.. I thought maybe it was a '57 with a 58 front sheetmetal, and was looking at clues that might confirm what I thought, like the '58's ribbed roof,.........but I was wrong......sedan deliveries are different tailights than wagons. I don't have a clue as to why.

1958 Ranchero - I didn't pay much attention to the shape of the tail lights until you mentioned it. 1958-ford-ranchero rear.jpg 1958-ford-ranchero front.jpg

Correction per later comments - This car is a 1958 Custom, not a Fairlane.

Interesting variation. Me*** listed this as a 1958 transitional model with 1957-style front end. Was this an actual production variation, or a rebuild with a combination of 57 and 58 parts?
