The City of Orange is my home town. GG used to be a sleepy little town, similar to Orange, until the late 80's and 90's, when the Vietnamese gangs took over and there was crime and graffiti everywhere. Have they got that under control now? Also, is Harbor Blvd, under water every time it rains now, or did they get that fixed?
BOZO!!! The Edsel aside, that man has some serious talent. I love the COE inside the museum the Edsel is parked in front of. His shop is just down the street, on the opposite side, and a good thing to remember if any of you guys ever break down near Santa Rosa, NM, and that's newer cars or your cl***ics.
The man has a sense of humor, and made some advertising one is not likely to forget. He really liked my car, took 1/2 dozen pics, so I know he has good taste, lol. I've got a pic of him with my car somewhere. Yep, that's the COE.
From today's cruise in Beaver Falls, PA - a much bigger event than the weekly cruise in Cranberry Township, PA.
I am not real fond of yellow but boy I love that yellow Tbird. Oh yeah, jimmy six I also love your Vicky.
I've never been a huge fan of the '58's, in part because of the taillights. The oblong single lens treatment on that blue '58 looks so much better than stock!
I saw those same 2 57s parked next to each other at an Edlebrock car show in Torrence in '14 but the dark one had a hood scoop.
Both amazing cars. The two-tone one belongs to Bob Lee, I think of Huntington Beach. He use to be the moderator on the '57 Ford forum I now moderate. That car use to be turquoise until he was rear-ended in a drive home from a car show. It underwent a total makeover, a lot of the mechanical being redone by his good friend Rick who owns that incredible dark blue beauty.
I’ve been with both them at different times with my 56. The Pageant of the Thunderbird also invites 55-56-57 Ford cars as well as square and bullet Birds. Both are great and Bob now has a 5 speed with and OD that he really likes. I was parked across from them last Friday night at Rubys Halloween extravaganza and show in Whittier.
Great thread, just found it. Don't know if the Galpin Ford G***er has been posted or not but it really hits all the ****ons for me. If it has already been posted feel free to delete.
Don’t know how old this photo is but what you see under that 54 can never all be removed until a frame off restoration. If it wasn’t rusty before …….. it is now.
If he drove/towed to Bonneville from Connecticut....he's happy to bring home some salt! Goes good on fries!
