1952-59 Ford Pic of the night

Going back to the Chopped '54 Ranch Wagon,IMHO it's just too radical a chop for my licking.



I prefer fellow Hamber Chucks '53 one off Woody Ranch Wagon with a slight chop. HRP

 

WOW! Thought I would do some further investigation on this subject and it became a decent size discussion on the main board https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/cragar-ss-and-white-walls.351742/ here is a '54 from member 46mopar , my opinion the 52-54 Fords can do it the Cragars came on in late '64 the WSW's were starting to fade around that time then so ???

 

That is a lot better, maybe an inch or two less of a chop would be better for me, but much better than the green one.

 

Not picking on him, just think the wheels look complete out of place. Looks like he's a youngster, so he gets a break.

 

I give him a break because he is a car guy doing to his car what appeals to him.

 

I have to agree with CB and Dobie the the wheels look awesome.just not with the whites or the car sorry

 

Chucks chop is much more tasteful. The 1 pc rear glass is a different look, and the rear quarter styling.

 

I like what I run. I dont care what people think. Just thought id play along with the pic of the day stuff. Didnt mean to spark any bs.

I know Jay Skow the owner of this 52 from Hot August Nights. I parked next to him in my car once. Really nice guy.

 

Had to post this. Very nice Ranchero from the cover of Cruisin It magazine. One of the guys on the '57 forum posted it on a thread about which wheel/tire look you really liked. I agree, as I'm sure at least '53 Vicky will also.
I'm really liking the unusual over-the-headlight treatment also.

 

Now thats much better.
