    No photos, but, while prowling ebay the other day, I found an accessory grill piece designed to eliminate the bullet on '49-'50's. Never seen one before, its listed under "Cal Custom"

    That other shoebox with the green flames was built by Steve Sellers, it was a small block chevy with 6 carbs, it was also fetured in Super Rod a few years ago, but now its in Japan.

    Seems like nobody but Rocky, 50Fraud and myself like their shoebox with a little hot rod rake.

    Bass, your shoebox is one of my favorites. I dig the rake more myself.

    The shoebox fender line tapers from front to back like an airplane fuselage. It's tallest right behind the front wheel, and then tapers gradually all the way to the tail.

    I think they look nice (and more modern) when they're lowered enough in front to level that tapering fender line.
