    Hey everyone,

I need some more inspiration to keep my thoughts of my future build going. I have had a couple of T's fall into my lap as of late. I have had one 1923 all steal with turtle deck complete T bucket mentioned to me and I also found two 1927 Tall T's one is a full car the other is just a body. The one that is a full car is bone stock that just needs to be put back together.

I like all three cars and I really would love to see some pictures of T's from the 1960 era. If you have pics please post them up weather they would be from back in the day or just built in modern day using parts that would have been used in the 60s.

Thanks everyone I'm really looking forward to seeing what comes out of the word-work and getting some more inspiration.

I'll go first for you. I think mine is really close to an early 60's build

I like where this is going. If anyone has any information or pictures of a model T show car that made the show tours in the sixties owned and built by Bob Tormey of Yakima Washington I'd love to see them. He called it the "Surfin T" at least around '66-'67 and '68. He actually built a few model T and C cab show cars during that time. Bob had a Barris built custom '41 Mercury around that time too.

I was in High School then and worked for Bob on the side as his helper. I left Yakima in '68 and never knew what happened to his cars.

googling your friend provides evidence that "the Rikster" of HAMB fame has some information he may provide after he sees your post.

That google also showed his Merc and a picture of him at a couple of different ages.

That is a great looking Tall T and that one is making a case for me to pick up one or both of those 27 T's in my area.

I love that one too and again its making a case to go with a Tall T. I love them chopped and unchopped. I also like them with fenders on them.

Maybe a HAMBer will chime in with some pics and if Louvers sees this post I bet he has pics and if so he will post them. It amazes me to see the pictures show up from other HAMBers and it also amazes that most of them can tell you what year, date and issue they were in if in a magazine.

Another great looking T. I think this is Tweety T if I'm not mistaken. I need to post Gene Chans T bucket in here to. That bucket is forever burned in my brain.

I have googled some and I have found a few HAMB links but I have not been lucky enough to find "The Rikster" as of yet. I hope he chimes in and post and I will also google.

Thanks everyone and keep the info, pics and post going. The more I think about a T build the more I start building a few cars in my head. I think I might need to buy three buckets one 23 and two 27s!

I really don't remember many fenderless T coupes in the 60's but here's a full fendered coupe I built in '63-'65. I originally painted it black but when I went into the army in late '65 I left it with a local custom painter who painted it pearl white with candy flames. When I got it back in '68 it was in primer.

Thank you and will contact him!

I really need to look these pics over and very nice looking rod. Do you still on it?

That is another thing I'm learning being on here is there was a West Coast way and an East Coast way of doing things back in the day. Would love to know when posting if the cars are East or West coast.

I love both fender and fender less cars and I tell you seeing that car above me really makes it hard not to build one just like that.

Keep the pics and info coming I'm loving this thread!

I sold the car in the early 70's but I have lots of pictures and memories. Last I saw of the car it was in July '74 Street Rodder.

Fred I have just kind of stumbled over two complete cars one being a 23 T and the other being a 27 T. I did find a body of a 27 T but the guy is asking $2000 for it and it needs some work no ***le. The other 27 that I found the guy is asking $5000 obo for it and it is a complete Model T that needs put back together with extra parts and a ***le.

If I could find out what the extra parts would bring it might pay to get the car and sell off what I don't need to build the 27 or I buy both 27's and sell the extra parts with the body and no ***le.

If I do keep the complete car, I'm not sure I can use the frame or if it would just better to build a new frame. That is another question for you guys with experience.

Whatever I build it will be a T and if I go 23 Gene Chans is my key car to look at because I love that one...but then again I love them all.

I dig that car and I wonder how late into the 60's this car would be? I see the motorcycle front tires. Now if it had Cragers on the front too that car would be perfect. I can't say I hate the motorcycle front wheels but I can't say I love the either.

I do really like that Bucket! Thanks for posting that pic it is a new to me. If you got more or know more about this car please share.
Any more pics of this one or links to it? I have seen this car but I think I have only seen this one pic.

I dig the front bumper and grill and the fenders over the tires is kind of cool.

Quick question is that a T frame or an A frame?

Cool history to your car and if you have more pics and would like to post them please do. I can't wait to see them.

Do you know where it is now or have a way of tracking it down?

I think it had a couple of builders. Bill Scott did most of the work I think.

I have seen that Bucket but not sure if I've seen it on a web site but I do love that one. I really like the wheels I think it sets that car off.

Everyone is posting some great looking T's and please keep them coming I'm digging them all.
