its best to put that pic at a picture server. you can then normally use a larger pic. here's a good one to use.. after you get it there just click on it and hit properties copy that address and paste it after hitting the (Image) button on the instant ubb code below. photobucket
what peteee sayz....to load an avatar picture from your computer the rules are pic has to be 80X80 and 1k in size... if you adjust the size of the picture so that you can upload it from your computer the size is so small that you won't be able to make out what your picture is...you'll lose all the definition.....BUT... if you "host" your picture on a webpage of sorts you can then link to the picture from the host an the the only rules are the picture has to be 80X80 pixels...the size or quality of the picture doesn't matter.....thats how you see guys with animated .gif's for avatars...
