Im getting a bit closer on having some paint on the body. We have decided to do some work on the sills and around the the cowl where the firewall meets the body and they we will place the body back on the chassis and start doing the mud work and priming. Man I,m getting jazzed. DSC02871.JPG DSC02872.JPG DSC02874.JPG

  8. When you tell people that yours is the blue one, there won't be any confusion. Damn, that's BLUE, I love your color choice.

  9. Hey Buddy, Chassis is looking great when the body guy gets started, it will move quickly if they stay on it, so soon you will be setting the Blue body on the Chassis and then you'll be surprised how fast the rest will go. Just hang in there I'll have to stop down and check it out. T

That thing is sweeet. You can't go wrong with a vintage motorcycle color.

Thats one goofy ass cartoon. Its been a long time since the body came off the frame so it felt good to put her back on the chassis where it belongs.

So Its been awhile since anything has happened to the sedan. My painter Jamie has put an addition on his Garage/shop so he has been busy trying to get it enclosed. He did get back on the sedan this week and we rehung the doors last night. I had everything gapped on the doors before, but when we rehung there were DSC02976.JPG DSC02978.JPG a few tight spots that will have to be addressed. When we gapped everything the first time I didnt have frame welt between the frame and body so I'm thinking that is the problem.

Thanks man. I dig the front brakes also, The car is full fendered so when you look at it from the front you would swear it is a drum brake car. I did a tech thread when I built them and I took a bunch of heat for being FAKE.

  24. Tim: That thing is looking good!! You may get a few miles in this year yet huh? How's you Dad? I think about His cars a lot. Fun trip. Tim

  25. Very nice blue you went with. I am also a fan of washinton blue, but you see a lot of cars done with it. So I took out one part of the white and added 2 additional parts of black. It turned out killer. Looks blue in the sun light and black in the shade.
Blue was the in color this year at the LARS

Hey Tim, The old man is doing good just need to kick him in the ass to get that roadster going. I'm hoping to at least get some color on the sedan as far as getting some miles on it I'm not banking on it.

  30. Well I am usually the first to say that I don't like blue cars, but I have got to admit you could not have chosen a better color. That car is going to be beautiful. Good choice right there.
