Projects picked up a 1964 galaxie.

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by glendale, Apr 15, 2013.

  1. so back in december i sol my plymouth. and picked up a 64 galaxie. the car is super solid and i excited to have a car that is far more family friendly. so the night i picked it up the generator or voltage regulator kicked the bucket so i only made two of the five miles home had to have it towed.. so since then i have swapped to and alternator. here is a pictiure from the add.

as you can see somebody had shaved the side trim. that didn't really bother me at first but the more i looked at it the more it bugged me. so i lucked out and picked up all of the side trim off local craigslist.

i also picked up a carpet kit and the trunk lock as it was missing or so i thought. i later found two of them in the car.

so as time went on i picked a body color and ordered flake for the roof. i aslo installed three inch blocks in the rear.

Love this body style, when lowered the body lines seem to go for days. What style are you going for bellflower maybe?
