Picked up a nice Galaxie!!

    Yeah! That's a nice '63 post! There was another '63 300 there, don't remember which year it was, that was a nice Viking Blue. I don't remember which motor but a nice car.

    I've met several other 63 Ford owners at Woodward since 1996, all nice guys! :)

    Do you go to Woodward anymore?

    That thing is bad azzz! WHY people think the '63 Impala's are the greatest is beyond me. Give me a '63 Galaxie of Merc hardtop anyday!

    Tasca badges are available repro so it could be a recent install.
    Was the car built in Mahwah (E)? Is there a Boston DSO (11)? That might tell more of the story.

  10. Right now just get it cleaned up and start replacing some of the little things...Just replaced the grille emblem/hood release....bought seat belts and floor mats....That kinda thing.

  16. Well I didn't take the AC out.....just got it charged up today and it works great.......hope it stays that way, no leaks so far. The thing blows cold as soon as you turn it on...KOOL!

  17. No need for A/C around here.:rolleyes: It's only 104 degrees:D with unbearable humidity. Glad you got it charged and working for 'ya, Murph.:).................Don.
