picked up another one 51 dodge 3 window

    picked this up from a nice guy in pasadena , rock solid 3 window coupe , horse traded parts and cash for it ,,body is almost ready for paint , , no engine or trans , cool car ..heres some pics...yowza!!!

    aint she sweet ...rock solid 51 dodge . checked the miliage ..car only has 24,000 miles..the front suspension is as tight as a babes but...lol....anyone got a running hemi in houston...

    Keep in mind that the top and upper doors are different than the Plymouth version.

  21. Am I the only one here that thinks this car will look really bad chopped? I think with a chop it will look all hood and trunk. I had this happen on a homemade 3 window 41 Stude I (started) to build a long time ago. Be real careful!!!!!

    Yeah, I think you're right. Because of the hood, trunk and slab sides, it could be hard to make it flow. Could end up with that "pinhead" look.

    I can relate it to the Fords of that era. The sedans look good with a chop. The coupes, not so much. The short roof just gets looking shorter.

    hey hey . thanks again ..ok ..f ..the chop , how about channeling it over a running driving s10 ch***is with v6 , overdrive , lose the computer , carbureted , appreciate the input all. . its been 10 years or so since my last chop....ill mull it over the holidays....by the way happy happy to all you gear headed , what ever you call yourselves....lol

    That little Dodge looks too nice and is too rare to be chopin or channeling. With 24,000 miles on it why screw up a nice car? Drop a small Hemi or anything Chrysler in it and have fun.
    Of course it's yours and you can and will do whatever you want. Good luck. Great lil car. I loved my little 49 Coronet coupe with the back seat.
