Very nice truck and really pretty countryside and buildings in France. Here in North America we demolish them and put up strip malls.

  7. Ha ha Nali, no offense at all! Us Australians have great senses of humour, I like to think so! Terrible terrible film,..not one of our best offerings. I apologise for my nation inflicting this movie on you.

Yes we have Citroen here, they sell ok - although I am surprised they import them. We only have about 22 million people in a country almost as big as the USA,...Not sure how they make money!! We have pretty much all the Euro cars here Peugot, Fiat, Skoda, had Seat and all the rest. I saw a Citroen and French car club meeting when I was on holidays here recently. You would be surprised at what was hiding all the way over here.

    C4 Coupe super cool too!

I spent a few weeks on holidays expoloring Aveyron two years ago,... came across lots of good wine, good food amazing scenery and good people however unfortunately didnt find any nice old cars hiding in barns!

It's in France, they are pretty rare in that original condition i think and desireable by the cl***ic car guys so it's not especially cheap at 10,000 euros.

    Hey Tim,

10,000 euros................. tha'd be some tall coin, and I'd have to be in tall cotton, for a vehicle I hadn't kicked the tyres on or slammed the doors of prior to purchase! That coupe does look good though. I hope it doesn't get butchered for someone's mypoic ''vision'' !

I doubt it will get butchered if sold at that price, it's more likely to get bought by a serious collecter and over restored if anything...

Here's a pic of mine without the front bumper, probably the only exterior mod it will get :)

    Hey Tim,

Great shot of the front of the C4! Good to see you've posted the garde chein to ward off pochers in the shop.

Are Citroens of that era six volt positive earth grounded? Mechanical brakes?

Sorry i only just saw this reply, Yes the guards are good with sharp teeth :)

And yes they are 6v but negative earth, the brakes are cable operated but have a Westinghouse vacuum operated servo as standard which i thought was quite novel...

  18. That's slick. Over hear when someone says citroen they think a bullet shaped sedan with a wierd suspension.

I always forget that they built anything else.

    WOW! that thing is sweet!

the instrument cluster is really neat too..

I'm not sure I could resist the urge of putting a v8 in it though, or a more modern 4 cyl.. especially with all the odd ball engines over there in europe.

They are Staffordshire crossed with some other breeds, not sure what exactly, maybe collie and lurcher. they are from the same litter but have different coats and very different personalities...
