Projects Picking up where I left off ...Latest Old New project ..

    Picking up where I left off ...when I was in my 20's ..finally got a 40s ride to restore ..1941 Ford business coupe.Is South Dakota ***led. 20190727_125511.jpg 20190727_125523.jpg 20190727_125501.jpg ..In my mid 50s & broke down&bought a ride to work on .Ill be WORKing on it for sure ..needs a rear end ..Rear springs ...motor &trans...Good solid frame & Body too..Great forum here guys enjoy..

    I'm a bit partial to 41's as my dad had one when he married my mom in 1946. It got traded for a Buick Sedanette after I was born.

    I have grown to appreciate the 41 Fords, In my youth I thought they were ugly but I have seen some very nice examples that changed my mind.

    I also recall a time when the 52-54 Fords were the redheaded stepchildren in the Ford line up and they too have gained in popularity as the more desirable years have started drying up. HRP

    Thanks for your replies & comments .this is my first Build project ( motor trans..rear end so will be a challenge )..would like to bring back to mild stock w a sleeper motor/powerhouse..right now cleaning the ****ins out of inner doors & panels saving what pieces I can ..must have sat for 10-20 yrs by looks of everything..thinking of Ford rear end 8.8 or 9 inch...needs a leaf spring kit..anyone have feedback on the Rear Parallel conversion speedway kit ..? GM or Ford powerhouse will have to decide..
