Pics & advice needed, Rat COE's

    Thanks man! Those teardrops are a blast, Up close and personal! Ive got some good thoughts and feedback from this post. Now ive got to act on them! Thanks for the vote of confidence. and enjoy building and using that teardrop. :)
     
  2. I like the way it looks but that mirror HAS to go! There's so many vintage looking mirrors out there,don't put that thing on there!YUK!

    thanks Bad Bob---That was slapped on some time ago. I thought at the time it looked ok. But after looking at the rest of the truck now, your right it dosnt belong there! It will get lost soon. Thanks for the observation.
     
  4. John Force has a COE,he drives around town sometimes. It's one of the nicest ones i've ever seen. Next time I see it i'll take a pic for you.

    I think its a black 50sh Ford, If i remember its a short flat bed? or maybe it has a bed? I remember reading a short artical some time ago. They just had a pic of his door and logo. Ive always wanted to see that one. If you get a shot of it please post it. Thanks,The Good Bob!:cool:

  9. Best advice I can give is to go to my web site and then click on repro parts http://ozcoetrucks.bravehost.com/Index.a.html
    As there are people making repro Hood panels and Grilles for Cabovers.
    Go check it out.
    And to the other question will a 38/39 Pickup Grille fit, NO !!
    COE Grilles are oval shape whereas Pickup Grilles are Egg shape, also COE Grille Bars are Flat with a peak and Pickup Grille Bars have a curve in them.

    Bitchen Grills, I think a bit to modern and classey for the big pig. I think ive been convinced to try build an original looking one. If i cant make it look good I will try a reproduction now that i know they are available. But thanks for the suggestion and the pic. Bob
