Cool Stude. Ever thought about shaving the handles, lowering it, and throwing on some scallops to match those steelies? It looks like a good canidate for a HAMB chop too. That'd give it the look for sure.
well petejoe is not my dad....i just go to car shows with him and we help each other out since we only live 5 minuntes away also i am going to lower that stude but i heard to many bad things about not being able to get the alignment right...cutting the coils is the only way out there if i want to keep the factory suspension

You could have reduced height springs made for the front. They really aren't too expensive and there are quite a few places that'll do em'. Try http://www.eatonsprings.com/index.html http://www.springworks.com/ You can get them w/ an increased rate too. This will stop bottoming & will provide a more firm ride. It's leaf in the rear, right? Just go w/ lowering blocks (steel ones) or have your springs dearched, or a combo. of both.
www.coilsprings.com Made some for me and I was very happy with thier product. That's a cool looking Stude.. I sold my aunt's '50 Coupe when I was 15, I really wanted to buy it myself and give it the hot rod treatment. Have fun.
