Well I really wanted to help him find some more work for his shop, you know maybe if he gets lots of work,I can work at the shop with him lots more. Also great pictures of your 3 window.
Well that would be a good thing. I hope it brings in a lot of work for him. About the 3 window---Thanks
ya i would say so,other then all the work on my roadster,he also built the orange 40 ford pickup that was in there.
That truck was featured in the last issue of OSR or CK Deluxe (don't remember which)... the "canted plate" is that guys signature mod. I do like the truck, minus that plate and the Line-X & wheel tubs...
That black Ford pickup is badass. It was also featured in the latest Classic Trucks. I third the sentiment that the license plate is a bit funky, but if it's the guy's signature deal I guess it couldn't be helped on that one! -Gregory-
I never really did post many pictures of his work, but I will have to try to,I have lots of pictures of cars he has built,so I'll see what I can find this week.
heres a few more of the project.. this was a really easy project for the most part. and working with my friend Eli from lowry restorations made it simple!! this dude really knows what hes doing..
Good thing Eli was there...someone had to carry that lard ass of yours!! haha All kidding aside, getting ready for the show you guys put a lot of time and effort into this behind the scenes, that no one got to see. They just see a group of talented guys make it look real easy. You all did a fantastic job and should be commended. I'm sure it inspired a lot more than just a few kids and adults in the process. Thanks, LSM
They are headlights, w/an air filter behind them. The turbo air inlet runs under the motor and Tees into the other side, the final run is into the carb on top from the rear. (all visible in part here) The owner had more metalwork done than when it was at the TyRod show last summer. It really is a work of art, the radius arms have sculpted raised edges, there is a sway bar hidden in the front x-member with similar crafting...it is a mad-max thing for sure.
Thanks for the link, seems lately I always forget to go on Hot Rod Hot Line. Al put up some good coverage as usual.
