Hey HAMBers good GG show in the great dairyland, lots of nice rods and tons of great folks. What a bunch of nice people at the show, I know "goldchainers" to some but just nice happy rodders that stopped by and chatted by our old clunkers. Here's a few pics.
I like Larry Gordhammer's yellow '32. That is a sweet original rod. He hasn't changed that car since the 60's.
That '32 light blue 5w belongs to John Meyer one talented auto trimmer. If you get to see this car in person take a look inside, I didn't think you could get that many rolls and pleats inside a '32 coupe. My friend Doug Klann, who builds some great high end rods, usually takes the cars from his shop to Chicago for John to do the interior. Frank
The inside of that coupe had a 1955 dash and the guy was a cool guy.. Yep his shop odgen top and trim is high end, but nice work also.. I think it was a good turn out with the so so weather. So rodders just don't like ****ty weather, I don't understand ,my top was off and sill is Oh Abomber tisk tisk, no chicken ****s but works a ***** to get off so many days for me, plus family first.. There only young once and they grow up super fast!!!! Soon buddy soon... But how was the show? any pictures for so oh **** that fricken cool.. I did dig the GG show and wanted to shoot some more shots but ran out of Batteries first . I thought I had shot a bunch more on the road but they didn't go, I think it's more fun driving to and from the shows... thanks continental P.s. Bill, fireman John *** still hurt form the ride
