Tooks some pics yesterday, it was a nice day, not too hot, my first time being up there for that event. There was lots of other nice cars i didnt get a chance to snap.
the yellow 3 window and Red 48 Ford belong to two of my buddy's. The 3 window is a gold chainer gl*** car, and the 48 has some history to it, and it is part of the reason i own my 46.
That green panel painted T I believe was started in the early 60's.Is the body widened slightly? Don't remember the guy who built it but I believe he died at an early age and it sat in storage for years.Looks like a custom Fortier radiator in it.Think it was from Lynn M***.
yeah i talked to the guy who brought it there yesterday, it was shown in this past months issue of ol skool rodz. it was widened like 6 inches. the guy who owned it originally shot himself while sitting next to it, and pellets from the shotgun actually hit the p***enger side and dented it. after the guy who bought it discovered the history behind it, he didnt change anything on it, it is as authentic of a 1960's build as they come.
I met you this past year at the World of Wheels in Boston, I just moved to Florida, I'm tall and lanky and have blue hair, if that helps you to remember me. I used to work with Tony, and i did the plastic and paint work on his nephews '48.
