Sloppyman - you hot rod is just stunning, i love everything about it, you have done yourself proud with a build (and a thread) that many rod builders can only aspire to.

Changed my door panels..fixed my steering wheel and re-did my carbs which I must say came out alot better the second time arround. Hope Evel is this far...Ill be speeding my X-mas in the garage too man so dont feel bad.

HAHAHA!!!! Its alllll finally done..got the seat back yesterday and installed it last night...went for a quick spin around the block before it started to rain.... Well that is it...just under 2 years of everything I got into a Model A..maybe the next one will go faster.
Cut it close two days before its debut show at the GNRS....but I made it. No pictures yet...Im sure there will be coverage of the show on here and you can see it then...FINALLY!!! Feels great to finish another car, but now I need some thing else to work on!!!! Better go look for the next project.

CONGRADULATIONS SCOTT MILLER!!!! On you GNRS Award winning build. It should be known that this was one of the few cars mostly built by the owner himself (paint, body, etc etc)

    Well deserved award!!!

Thanks everyone who came out to the GNRS...meet alot of you guys and everyone was very happy about how the car came out...Got quite a bit of magazine offers and a few other offers I hope come true!!! Anyways thanks again everyone ...its been a fun build...
Ill try and locate a few pics people took there to show you how it all came out. Its funny how many old guys came up and shook my hand and said what a nice job I did at capturing the heart of hot rodding. ...one even said...it was the best car he seen at the show all weekend. I was even having breakfast sat morning at the hotel and overheard guys talking about my car.... Its pretty cool that a 25 year old punk kid can show up with a car thats been in my head for 2 years now and get that kind of reaction. Oh well better get back to work...next years GNRS is coming quickly!!!!

Very cool build and thread,I like almost every aspect of the car and will probably get blasted for my last remark........I think the rear is too low for me,and I like slammed/lowered rides.

Thanks....no one is gonna blast you here...everyone has their own opinion on how a car should look. I like my cars level....if you look at the side shot the belt line is perfectly level with the ground...thats the way I build-em
