Amazing car! And you say at the start of the thread your 25......I'm the same age and have a degree in automotive And couldn't do what you've done here. That car is tits man!

Mabey after I learn to weld better and learn the patience it takes to sand for 13 hours a day (most annoying part of any build IMO).

Thanks man...there were alot of cars in the palace this year...Axle did a pretty good job once again... my favorite was definatly the 29 black roadster that no one was really paying attention to.

Been watching your build from the beggining, keeping my mouth shut and watching from the sidelines. After seeing your car last weekend, I'm absolutaly blown away. You 100% nailed it, every aspect of the car is perfect. I would definitely say it was the nicest car in the suede palace and one of the nicest, most artfully done coupes I've ever seen. I'm also 22 years old and building a '31 coupe myself and could only hope my will turn out to look half as good as yours. I, sir, give you a pat on the back.

I agree its perfectly level and looks great, and period perfect built. I just havent grown accustomed to the rear tire being over trunks or beds yet even though its done widely.I wasnt trying to be overly critical because I havent built a caliber car to even remotely compare. Awesome build again!!

You know what? your car is BADASS!! you've done an excellent job! I totally missed the build of this car, the first I've seen or heard of this car was at the show, and I was very impressed. I haven't been on the hamb lately so I didn't even know of this thread until after I saw the car in person, now after seeing all the build pics I have an even deeper appreciation for this car. I was able to speak with you a bit at the show and tell you that I dug the car but that was before I saw these build pics, now I want to see it again!! you know...crawl under it and stuff, haha. Great job man!

It looks like there is a new standard for comparing coupes. This thing is so right! You could not throw money at it and improve it a bit! Is there a WMBC award?

Thanks again... got alot of magazine shoots coming up, so look at your local stores for better coverage of it. It will be at as many shows as I can get it to this year, then some poor bastard will have to take it off my hands so I can start the next car!

Just reread this entire thread. I've been watching since the start but going back over it really makes me appreciate the effort you put into it. Congrats on the GNRS exibit, wish I could have seen it in person.

I gotta say, congrats and great job on this car. Having had a similar experience to yourself (but in the bike world), I can say that when you have guys who are really in 'the know' like some on this board tell you that you have done exceptionally well and truely inspired others, believe me in saying that there isn't a better feeling of accomplishment than that.

Especially since you built it. It's really your expression and effort being praised.

    Again, great job!

I saw your coupe in person and I really apreciate all the detail that went in to the project, your car is a great example of clean lines and very simple. Best looking coupe in a long time.
