Yeah...they wanted too much for the Hurst ones, so i just made my own to accept early ford mountings...pretty easy, just some plate welded and chromed. Alot of guys get the early motor mounts and wack the rubber off the bottom and drill a hole, but thats too easy! Im young, I do stuff the hard way!

I had forgotten about this build, glad I caught it this time through. That car sends me man. The chrome, paint, everything was just done right.

You are obviously new here and don't know how to use the search button. Go to http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=138527 and you can read a little about him.

You should also show some respect! ;)

Below are a few early pics of his coupe while under construction.

I dont like making new threads so Ill just tack this on... I just wanted to thank Hank for a great Magazine thread in Gasoline... not to many of you HAMBers can read it or even get to purchase it, but this is one great magazine and I hope one day they start publishing it in English and distributing it in America...here it is.

just going back over this post. still amazing to go through...

got a question if you could, what kind of wood is that you used on the floor and is it over a metal structure?

is that trans cover rolled sheet metal or bought and modified from someplace?

    thanks in advance. great job!

Awesome car, saw this one out at the So-Cal open house the week of the LA Roadsters show.

Did you add a coupe of leaves to the back? Looks like the rear is a little higher in the finished shots than in the mock up.

  24. I just found this thread by way of the Parts F/S section. What a nice build .You should be very proud of your nice clean ,neat workmanship and fine attention for detail. Very inspiring ,thanks for sharing it with the rest of us.
    I gotta get to work.

The wood is just plywood that has a laminate on it. and yes its over a metal skeleton. The trans cover is a rolled metal piece that a friend rolled and I welded.

amazing. I just read all 26 pages wow.. Took forever but worth every minute. I have seen your car in Rodders Journal (small pic and thought DAMN)

Dude your a cut above, and from a guy your age, you have TALENT!!!

I am searching for a model A project. My wife said I would have to get one that would take a long time and I think I have found my motivation now. I know one thing though. You do not have kids, right? Cause if so that build might have taken 10 years. That thing is amazing and down right SICK.

    Congrats and overly deserved Scott.

Hope to see your next build soon.

sloppyseconds.I don't know how the fuck I've not posted on this thread before,as your ''A'' Coupe along with Evel's Live Wire are two of the BEST Hot Rods letalone Model ''A''s yet, in my opinion. The fit and finish on your Coupe is just about second to non!The more I see Model ''A'' that are this Great the more I grow to LOVE ''A''s.
Thanks for posting the Great pictures.I saw your coupe first in DICE magazine, Liked it back then and things ain't changed.:D

    Nick.
