i hate this car..... i hate everything about it from the beautiful gold painted caddillac motor.... to the beautiful dash board..... to the spoke wheels..... i hate the amazing stance... and the nice chop that was done here...... over all this is a stupid car that you should just dispose of in my back yard as soon as possible... so i can light it on fire and put it out of it's missery... hahaha ahaha

Yeah...I was thinking about hiding my car till its unveiling. Havent decided yet. Your car looks great man...cant wait to get up close and touch it! hahaha. I guess Ill see both the Cad-Coupes up at Primer Nats. Ill get mine wrapped up soon.

So I finally got the clutch figured out and had a few friends come over and set the body on...one side kinda fell, and the back glass fell out, but other than that it fits like a glove. My cameras battery was dead, so no pics, but Im thinking aout pulling the surprize card and just making y'all wait to see it when its all done!!!

Thanks...It took me a few tries to get the color I want. I also added a whole lotta carbon black toner to get it as muddy as laquer is...turned out pretty good, itll look better in the sun.

you still going with the 32 grille shell from the first pics?

 

Unfortunately yeah....Im not a huge 32 shell fan, just cuase everyone uses them, but I guess theres a reason everyone uses them! Ive got it chopped down and fit, but I still have to paint it and my headlights.
Im gonna try and push it out in the sun after work today and show you guys what the blue really looks like instead of those horrible Hallogen bulbs. Thanks for all the comments too....I was really wanting to get the car in ROdders journal, but oh well too late, the body is on!! Next car! haha

 

Ok, I'm impressed, even under the halogen bulbs. And don't worry, I'm sure it will see plenty of magazine time. You've done good. Now for the fun part, drive the snot out of it!

Well the worst part about the upcomming pics is that progress is so hard to be seen. Its the little things that make a car go and thats what Im doing now. Lots of wiring and lost of little Model A doo-dads. Ill get some pics soon of it outside.
