Thanks for all the posts. I just purchased a '51 f1 and needed alittle motivation......It has the bigger f2 front fenders, which are cherry. Don't know it I should look for some f1 fenders or just put it back together and drive the crap out of it. Thanks again, Gary

what have you done as far as suspension?

 

NORCAL, you and I have PM'ed before, I sent you a pic of the rear suspension, remember? I talked to you about the engine and trans mounting also. If not It's notched in the rear w/air bags over leafsprings, and a plymouth volare front clip. Jay

 

Here's my 49 F1. It has 500ci Caddy for power and tons of little small mods.

Oneshot - great looking truck, but it's not a 48 through 52 so it's sortof in the wrong post.

Here's mine, it is a 1952 F-1 with a 1939 Flathead and a 3-Speed. I just got it and am putting it together...

 

Just picked up a '50 F-1 - will have pics up shortly, i hope....

it's going to be a long road, though...

Any more inspiration out there, specifically 48-50's?
