Here's a couple:My buddy George in his truck last year(Auburn Maine)and the Safari at Denise's and in my driveway.
What,s the Iceni Run? A true alternative to eating turkey sandwiches and watching Where Eagles Dare. It,s a run through Norfolk, usually the day after Boxing Day but will happen on the 30th of December this year due to the fact that some of us poor fuckers have to go back to work on the wednesday. It,s great to have a get together and run out to the coast at this time of year. Fancy coming?
Looks like fun...mite take a mite longer to ship my '40 Studie over than a week I'm guessing...but thanx for the invite... R-
4t950, ya that's a '61 scout. the bullet proof plow truck Rusty1, we get snow through May, and sometimes into June. but the grounds covered until mid May, It starts up again beginning of Sept. Tman, its no suprise, I live at 9,000ft in WINTER PARK, just cool pics. We get over 360" a year. I'll start bitchin about it in a couple months though, that's just the way it goes around here. You have to earn the right to bitch Gary
Guys from Co., How long will the snow hang around from a storm like this? Had some relatives in Ft. Colins years ago, seems as they said it would melt just as fast as it would fall. Something to do with humidity? Is that true?
along the front range( Denver, Golden, Boulder, Ft Collins, CO Springs) it'll melt pretty quick. Its a dry climate if thats what you mean by humidity. It reaches 50's alot during the winter with a ton of sun, so the snow doesn't stick around long. Usually.
I'm really really jealous. Usually we'd have at least a foot of snow by now but it's actually raining here as I type. We're going to have a green christmas for the first time I can remember here in Montreal.
I think you'll find we're driving on the correct side , as proven by the large number of USAF personnel from our local base who try driving on your side after a few beers . You can tell its party season by the amount of lefthand drive Honda's in the hedges
Not really old enough for you guys I know but this is my '67 C10 last year (the ugly ass roll bar is gone now) I'm still searching for my first proper rod project.
It doesn't really matter on what side of the road you drive... ... as long as everybody else in your country does the same... This a "cool"-topic...
This thread is very COOL! Hoping/praying for a white Christmas, when I fly to Cleveland, tomorrow. Hey Kirk, we may not have snow to deal with but the hurricanes can really suck! The blizzard pics, in England, should be on the HAMB calender for month of December, and/or be on the Wednesday photo show. Winter weather makes you appreciate the sunny south. I remember changing the transmission of my Pinto, in a snowy driveway..... Why?...because I HAD to! JT
My backyard "pet" from last winter. Car is russian´48 GAZ 20 which is also called Pobeda. Other pic is Dodge ´37 "moredoor" and me removing body from frame couple months ago. Merry Christmas from Finland to all Hambers.
