Now you're talkin'. I love lookin' at all the cool old engines. Yeeeessss! Here's a couple I can contribute.

Here's a screamin' GMC six-cylinder 302. It's got the cross-flow head, produced by Fontana Automotive. Bad***edest 302 six I've ever seen! Good for 375-425hp! And also my friend Palle Johansen's Italmeccanica-blown flathead Caddy engine going into '32 his roadster. Palle is from Denmark. So cool. Keep 'em comin' guys. Love it! - Rick

  18. How can we forget Mr Duntov's addition to the world of speed. Without this Ford accessory we would never of had the Hemi.

  21. Could have been. But for all I can find out and what little I remember Chet was a 1320 guy so I'm going to guess it was probably in a car or reasonable facsimile there of.

Although if it wasn't stuffed into something like and altered the angle of the carb pads might suggest boat. There is no water pickup and the copper manifold is reminiscent of an early '60s dragster of some sort.

This flatty is pretty cool. Its a modern conversion? I guess if its an OHV it isn't really a flatty is it?

Some place around here I have a pic of Ed Iskanderians OHV Flatty in the old salter. I wish I knew where it was.

It isn't anything but an oddity no one would ever find another but it is cool.

Studebaker 289 (which looks similar to the 259, 232 and 224) V8 out of 1964 Cruiser sedan.
