Check with Kustombuilder, he's doing the work on Donzies '50. They are doing the taillights and bumpers first but the last I heard there was a chop job scheduled for this winter. I think he had some photoshop work done on the chop. Frank
Real nice, How did you get her so low at the rear? .I am in the middle of a major job on a 50 chevy it was a 4 door now 2 , I have chopped it 4 inchs .It was a real rust bucket..It must be great to get a nice one to start with!!
when i asked for pics in the other thread i had a feeling this was the car. i saw it at the Broken Dreams Cruise. very cool! i just sold my 50 about a year ago. it was chopped 4 in the front and 5 in the back with bags in the rear (like yours). you can check out Donzie's chop later this winter and see what you think. i'm SURE he will post pics of it as often as possible . he's like a little kid sometimes when he's dreaming about his car but are'nt we all.
[ QUOTE ] yea i just got off the phone with donzie im going up and picking up his 235 friday.. [/ QUOTE ] How about a one pc rear bumper? I've got one I won't be using. It's very nice. It's in primer. Glad you posted the pics. Looks cool. Why don't I remember that from the Broken Dream Cruise? So what do ya do if ya have a flat rear tire?
u have to take out the four bolts that hold the rear bags in then drop the axle down to change the tire. thanks for your replys guys
Dirty T........don't know if you're interested but a 49-52 Poncho Bumper has the correct width and curves to hug the contours of your Chevy. I used one on the back of my sedan delivery but hadda section 3" out of each side where the bumper goes up the side of the car....like this...
