sorry about the poor quality... these are the only pics i have of my truck before i started working on it... its a 1962 chevy c-10 it has a 235 straight 6 with a 3 on the tree. my great grandfather bought it brand new and it was p***ed from him to my grandfather to my dad to me. mechanicly its perfect, but body wise its bad, but not to bad.

Hey nice truck you got there. Being Pap's makes it all the more special too. Have fun with the rust. They were bad for rot, but it's do~able if you work at it.

    I have a 62 C10 shortstep myself.

    Thanks for the pics.

I thought the hood still had nostrils in '62?

Nice truck though...my dad is building a '65. Slam that one to the ground and call it finished.

do you have any pics of your truck? ya the rust should be fun, there is just enough to drive me crazy, but there really isnt that much... just in both rocker panels, the right cab corner, the drip rail, and a few random other pea sized spots..... ok maybe it is pretty bad....

ive seen your truck before, its on martsrods.com... i always wondered how you made that grill, are they just drawer handles from a hardware store? i need to do somthing with my grill and i was thinking about painting the truck black, the grill white and using either black, or red handles.... i thing itll look cool, you have a bad*** truck, i hope mine gets to that point someday...

Yeah I love Mart's site. Had fun following him through Rusty's build up.

They are just chrome kitchen drawer pulls from the builder's supply.

I mounted them with screws and washers on standard hardware cloth blacked out with black primer. The silver is just el-rusto buzz-bombed.

Chrome bezels were on a chrome grill that came on the truck when I got it years ago.

I'm running the 60 grill from the first pic these days.
