    Indeed.

Though, coming from an oval racing background like mine, I will say that luck sure don't hurt. ;)

thanks again for all the replys guys

I never at one point said I dont plan on running shocks I dont know where that came from
Im just finishing up some more things on the front end and deciding on where I want the headlights to sit before I go ahead and mount the shocks

also I ordered a pair of drop steering arms and Im going to attempt to move the steering link back behind the axle

for those that dont like "rat rods" sorry but thats the type of car I do plan on building
and to those that dont like the longer stretched wheel base look again sorry but I do

I do appreciate the the helpful comments about technical ideas and suggestions
    but the personal remarks
    please keep to yourself

I do not plan on driving a death trap around and I dont want to put my safety and the safety of others at risk at anytime
so again I do appreciate the helpful tech comments and suggestions

I will post up some more pics once the dropped steering arms show up
for now Im working on mounting up my steering box

It was not from you, but from someone who commented on your post. Having seen you ride in it's incomplete state, without shocks, assumed you were not running them, and took that as affirmation of his decision to not run them, as well.

Happy to hear that you have safety in mind.

Remember, build the car that YOU want. Build it well, and build it safe. This is but one place, dedicated to one genre of cars. Folks here might not like it, and that is ok, they don't have to (you just might get flack for showing it here).

I seen a car in Street Rodder a few months back where the tie rod went through the wish bones. Looked pretty cool.

Just a quick note about shocks...I don't think its been mentioned..STOPPING!!!! You may have no noticeable problems in accellerating or stopping with out shocks..Put shocks on and stopping distance will decrease and traction during acceration will improve..

I love the axle in front. Starting a 1930 RPU build and will be going the axle in front possibly with air bags in the crossmember.
