Pics of Nascar modifieds from the fifty's ?

I am building a model of a 37 Ford Nascar modified from 1956 and was wondering if anyone had any close up pictures of the kind of powerplants used back then. I believe the car I'm doing had a flathead with 3 carburetors but I'm not really sure. Thanks if you can direct me to any links that might already address this request, or if you have any new photos.
