Something tells me KIRK isn't talking about your car!

The car looks great and seems to be setup very nice, just the 'right' look.

Most people think these bullets are for the door locks, but I ran some tubing to the bear claw latches and you push down to release them. I think it works better than the usual slide bar in the door. Its a .223 cal casing and tapers in the middle to almost the same diameter as the tubing.

Lowlesabre, I gotta ask you how you did your bear claw latches. Nice interior by the way, I like the shells for releases.

I used the mini bear claws and they fit perfect. On the post side I took a piece of flat stock, and drilled and welded a nut to the back, the flat stock was made about a 1/4" smaller than the width/heighth of the pillar so i would have adjustment, then it was inserted thru a slot in the side of the pillar and the slot filled, inside the pillar was the flat stock that could be adjusted.
On the latch side I removed the stock latches and used it as a starting point for the new latches. I put some colored lines on the post pic to give you an idea of what I was talking about.

Thank you for posting that and nice work. I figured the mini bearclaws would work but I wasn't sure. Now I can get some of those and get going.
