HA HA, I had to post that as a title as NOBODY bugs me more to see pics then that guy hahahha, its all good tho. So heres some updates on my sedan. Its been a long time since my last update on the car that i posted about. So this last week it was somewhat milder outside so I decided it was time to roll it into the sun and get some pics. While it was outside i took advantage of a decent winter day and stripped all the paint off the roof that i had used to fill the top in my model A sedan.

Enough talk, lets show you guys what i have been up to while hiding out in my garage this winter. A little cold weather doesnt stop us Canadians from workin outside when we can.

I built the entire swing pedal set up with mechanical clutch linkage, 90 degree master cylinder and a lot of bell cranks. NOTHING was a bought item except the bushings and the new master cylinder.

Then once that was out of the way it was time to start doin some body rust repair. I found the rust, cut it out, made and formed my own patch panels and welded them in

Next up was to weld the cowl to the body and eliminate the factory body seams and rivets along with all the pesky rectangular openings beneath the windsheild. Lots of welding. I used 1/8 round rod to fill the gap and provide a better welding surface.

Last week i decided it was time to roll it into daylight and get a good standback pic of it. While i had it outside i took advantage of the mild weather and stripped a bunch of paint on the roof, now that its welded in fully. the roof i used for filling the opening was a 77 Volare Station wagon roof, reversed front to back.

After a couple hours i had all the paint on the roof stripped off so i finished with a couple more pics. Oh also heres a pic of how the dash looks in the car now that its all fit properly. These shots also show off my beltline that i reshaped at the rear around my gas cap. Oh and before one of you asks, the license plate is one i had kickin around off a Kustom i had, the Hotrod will have a different one.

HAHAHA nope, not 7feet tall haha, I am 6'4 tall. And yes thats a 68 Pontiac OHC i am using in the rod. I am a diehard OHC nut when it comes to those motors. Oh and the clear photos are thanks to a camera that was handed down to me from my dad, an old 35mm. Thats right, I dont use any of these new fandangled gadgets like Digi cams and such !! HAHA

  7. looks like a lot of high quality stuff going on there. I like how you got the 6 in there without it getting too long too, thanks for sharing!

Well Brent, it's about frikin time you got the pictures developed!!!!:D

You've been making some serious progress my friend and you're doing a beautiful job. I can't beleive all of the one-off's on this car, and even with that your making real good progress.

I love everything about the car inside and out, exect maybe that white stuff under it in the pics. blah...keep that shit up north please!

So tell me, when will you have the next batch of pic's ready to post?? hahaha:D

    Keep up the good work.

Thats fricking awesome. I just picked up a '29 sedan myself and you're pics are truly inspirational. If you ever run that sucker out to Calgary come by the shop.

Thanks for the compliments. The taillights are 1960 Dodge Valiant. Not too common but had a neat look to them.

Looks awsome! Anymore pics of the pedals and maybe some info on how you engineered the whole thing? Need some ideas and help with my setup. Thanks

What are the headlights off of? I bought one and need to find another like it. But I don't know what it's off of. Car looks cool too! Did you custom fab the dash? I like it....

well when i bought the lights i picked em up at a swapmeet and a guy told me they were off a pontiac. I have looked into that and they might have been an option of sorts. They were more likely an aftermarket type being a Electroline but i dont know much positive info on them. I have read that they came on 47 Lafrance firetrucks.
