So my Pops has been telling me stories about a car that will not leave his memory, even though he hasn't seen it in 42 years. Dad used to cruise Van Nuys Blvd in the late 60's and would see this bad mf all the time. He described it as a 1960 Chysler 300F. All black, shaved handles and trim, frenched tail lights, lowered a bit on chrome reverse with spiders and skinny whites. He told me the car was flawless. Just gallons of clear and black laquer on this thing. The most perfect black paint job (and body work) he's ever seen. Driver was a younger blonde guy with a big pomp and a sculpted beard who was never seen doing more than 15mph and was never seen outside his car. Dude never stopped at all the popular hangouts, just cruised by lookin righteous. Now, I figured that because the car was rare and unique even then, it would make it easier to track down some info... But without knowing who did the body work, who painted it, who owned it, etc, that's gonna make things tricky... I know some of you guys have great memories and extensive archives, so I'm hoping you can help... But any leads would be appreciated. Any info or especially pics would bring alot of happiness to my old man. He's been obsessing over this Mopar the last month or so (in all reality, probably the last 42 years), and he's a die hard Chevy guy (if that tells you anything, haha)! Thanks for readin!
