Nice looking Matt! Just so I understand, the torque tube running from the pig to the ****** is what'll keep your rear-end "pushing" the car? since you have the single spring? Are those just steerarms cut down for the panhard rod? Pretty cool.

Once I get the rear in my chevy I'll have to have you come down and help figure out how to support the original leaf springs. I'm thinking of using torque tubes on the axle???

  9. No Matt, you are the Ruler;)

I love the ch***is work you guys do. Each one is a total work of art.

Too bad Bodys have to be put on them.

I'm just about to put togeather the 32 ch***is I have with the belled hole boxing plates. I will probably steal some of your ideas too:D .

See you at the Calander party.

Very nice, I like that look a lot, has an aircraft look to it. Could you post some photos of the lightening hole flaring process?

I can't show you, sorry, but it very easy and quiet basic......I'm sure to could figure it out without a head ache ;)

Yeah Aaron, the panhard mount on the rear is a cut off steering arm, messed with.

And on the third link, I'm not exactly sure what you are saying, but I think the answer is yes, haha  yeah, it's a torque arm

The rear wishbone is a combination of 36 radius rods, and a center "craddle" from model A frt. wishbones, the third link and the panhard bar will help keep the thing in place and will take some stress/strain out of the wishbone...

here are a few more pictures, one being a "process" shot of the rear end bracket for the third link and the forward bushing for the link....and a couple of the wishbone.

    Oh yeah, the pic's

    Matt,
You answered my question, that I had a hard time asking:p . Man that is one tuff chasis. One last one, the third link, You mounted it up to the ****** so you don't get any binding? Basically it's on the same pivot radius as the driveshaft just offset one side? Or is there another reason to mount there instead of down on the frame rail using two 3rd members on either side of the axle and attaching to the frame (which I think could cause binding). Thanks for the reply I'm just trying to figure out if I want to do some thing for my chevy...

It's not mounted to the trans. just to the right of it on the crossmember, we put it there because it works there and we have seen them there on other ch***is...

Thanks for the comments guy's

    Peace,

Matt, As usual, a very nice effort and another unique ch***is (you guys don't own a cookie cutter do you?;) ). Tell your dad that I'm still confident the he will make something of himself one of these days, it's just a matter of sticking to it. :) Oh, and not to forget you, it looks like you've been paying attention as well.  I'm finding myself REALLY wanting to come visit you guys again.

Very Cool Matt! Now your adding Motorcycle parts to it! Neat-O idea. Now you just have to figure out how to make a plexigl*** floor so you don't hide all this. That torque rod connecter to the rear-end is sweet! I like the down sweep. Or is this gonna be one of those cars you put mirrors under? Are the brake rotors at the chrome platers yet?:D
