Here are a few shots I took at the show Saturday, what a cool show. The village is really cool and I actually looked at a few cars too.

In the evening after most of the cars were gone, my dad and I drove the cars around and took pictures!!

    Just thought I'd share a few.

I took around 180 pictures but they are mainly all of the buildings and the interiors of them. I can post more if there is interest...

That was a great show with more planned to do than possible with my schedule(sp), drive in movie and dinner(good stuff, from what I heard) Sat. night (am. Graf.) Gala Dinner with a ton of special guests on Friday night. And to finish, they invited everyone to Edsel's estate for a picture in front of the house and a tour, my dad made it to that and said it was very cool...they also offered brunch, however it was sold out months in advance.

I hope the pic's are alright, PeteJoe will be posting more of the cars I believe...

Thanks Matt for sharing the pictures. Another good event I missed this year. Regret and the roadster sure look good in those settings.

Henry created his own town with Greenfield. He moved historical buildings there, and they look like they were always there. Abe Lincoln's law office is there,, quite a few of Edison's labs, even a windmill.

Have I mentioned how fricking cool this is!!!!???,,

    I don't think I can.

Henry began this project (GreenField Village) in the early 30's because he figured he was killing american roots!..It's amazing we had the oppertunity to be there!

The first picture is an early "voice Recorder", next to it are the first wax discs(records, before the wax cone!!!).....

Just below that in third are the Elements..

    #4 Is the Experamental(sp) room of Edison's.

#5 Is the typical house with garden,

#6 Is a larger voice recorder.

#7 Is a picture of the slave quarters...

Keeps the birds away I would suspect...

    Inside a 1935 Patty Wagon,

And the outside of said wagon..

    The "Round" in "Round House"..

Inside, where the train gets fixed....

    ...

    ...

    .....

PS. Henry tried to start a Luxury(sp) train line, so he bought this engine and had it gussy'd up at the Rouge Plant...

THe Luxury(sp) line never worked out....So he kept the engine for the village.
