The King and Marshall FED driven by Ray Helger ran good but burnt a piston.......They are only allowed to run 1/8th mile in this car............... Here's Jimmy King himself...............
Tom, We must have crossed paths yesterday. I was there with my grand kids. We went to help The lime green flathead dragster, but he got a full crew to come up from the Cape. Nice pictures. I ran into a lot of guys I know....guess not all of them, though. Paul
Great pics I have several in my camera from that event but my computer ****ped out and I can't download them. it was a great time ...... I'll probably post as an album when I'm off the blackberry and back up and running.
Thanks for the pictures. Looks like a great turn out. Hope to have my magneto back this week and get the 55 up and running again .
Ct Fuzz, Thanks for the nice photos... That is me in the first photo wearing the Standard 1320 T shirt, standing in front of our altered. The season opener for the nostalgia series was a good one. The pits were full...There were several new race cars debuting, great weather, and the largest show car field ever, it all added up to a great day.
Next time Paul....................I had a great time sunday, spent some time in King and Marshall pit with Jimmy and Ray Helger. More pictures here http://www.pangalacticconsortium.com/cars/CarEvents2010/NostalgiaDragsDowneastStreetrods/ Pictures in this link are by our own Rebecca !! Great job...............
Thanks for all the pictures. Just spent over 1 hour looking at all of them. I saw more there than if I had gone. Nice job!
