Great pics. Neat to see some East coast style rods. I wish chrome was still cheap and simple to get done. Loads of it back then.

Awesome photos! I love to examine the "real life" application of parts used in the region. Note the blue T with wide white slicks on a new set of what look like Cragar SS's. California guys say WW's were dead by 1965. And the '32's were both channelled like we know all east coast cars were.

If you have more please post them!

is that 36 a convert or roadster?

I've seen a roadster or 2 around the area, but not a convert....also is it blue or black?

my car would have been around then but it was black in 65....great pics

Thanks, great! As mentioned most large stores with a photo dept. will convert slides to CD for a couple bucks.

ALL the know it alls here will swear it is not so......

  10. Gard sold the car after his son's death. I think it went to Connecticut.

  11. I really dig that blue roadster! Is it still around? Thanks for the pics!

Thanks for posting these up. Love the blue T with the zoomies!

  15. Very cool, I've seen a few photos of Guard's car but not these, he was got reprimanded by the club for doing a burnout leaving the club meeting....lol He was a great guy and still very sharp right to the end, I bought some of his tools after his passing and often wonder what cars had been built with them through the years. RIP

It looks exactly like a later 50s continental kit cover.

in the background of one of the pics there is a dirty old full fendered 34 3 window ,,flat black even,,he was wishing he could channel it and make it into a real hotrod,,,maybe he did after that,,,,

  23. These east coast channeled cars look like the old aussie rods.

  24. Cant be real pics, there's no fat chicks covered in tattoos......

in the "its a small world" files.
I sold some 36 parts today to a man and his son from craigslist, the son is my age. And the guy owns the red 36 in the pics one page one, owned it then and still does....Son owns a 3 Window and 3rd generation is going to build a 36 Sedan...the blue 36 convert is supposed to still be around as well
