Matching a 1968 230 I6 to a 1983 T-5. The pilot bushing is quite a bit larger O.D. than the S-10 pilot shaft. Can anyone tell me what pilot bushing/bearing I should be using?

There may not be a specific application for your bearing, in other words I don't know if a pilot bearing from a 1987 Toyota Land Cruiser will work or not. You may have to measure the OD, ID, and width accurately and cross reference those measurements in a bearing catalog. A company like Bearings and Drives should have no problem finding something that will work for you.

The ID of both bushings is exactly the same 0.592 . I believe we just answered that question for you over on the truck board.
