Amazing weekend. Went by too fast.

I got 26 runs in. Best was 10.197 at 68.36 mph.

Thank you Eli and family. And thank you Winterport Dragway.

Over 100 cars!!! Most spectators ever on Saturday since the track opened in 1967!

Great seeing everyone! Can't wait 'til next year!!!

Made close to 30 passes and could have done way more. Track people were very accommodating and were legitimately happy we were there. Looking forward to many more events upta Winterport 20220820_164540.jpg

  4. Just watched a YouTube by This Old Hotrod.
To me, an outsider, it looks like TROG on the paved 1/8 mile strip!

Eli and the English family did an outstanding job with the event this year! Winterport Dragway staff were awesome as usual. Great cars, great racing and great people. See you next year!

  8. Looks like great cars, great weather, great folks-recipe for a great time. Going to you tube to see what I can dig up, I noticed the 8 ball phaeton had a windshield cam.

Kim and I watched a few of your runs on YouTube coverage. You kinda looked like John Milner for a bit….

Great collection of cars, who owns this truck? I have a few questions I'd like to ask. Bob

That truck was cool, I chatted with the owner for a minute. Johnson and Son’s Racing I think ?

That's Mike Johnson, he's a pal of mine. PM me. I made sure not to line up against him last weekend.

    A few favorites.

  20. So, thanks again for the coverage. This car with 31 on the door - is that a 29 grille shell, cut down 31 coupe or truck cowl, roadster doors and a turtle deck on the back all on a model A frame? Talk about a hotrod! 9336060F-0ED2-4429-A066-E8ACEE226EAD.jpeg

Looks like a 1928-29 Fordor cowl, could be a '29 cabriolet cowl as well. Doors look to be Fordor with the tops cut off. Grille shell is 28-29 moved forward because of the filler location on the radiator.
