Ok, so I didn't know your work, or the cars you've done. Oh well, but the point i'm trying to make is that in your first post you said he should spend time with a blocksander, when no one ever said he was finished with the body work. also good taste means something different to everyone...
fuck you, fuck your idea of good taste, fuck your point, and fuck everything that you have said, bitch!!! jk, i agree. merry christmas.
fuckin' fucktards, fuck everybody and everything...this fuckin' car is supposed to fuckin' be over the fuckin' top, fuckin' 'taste' be fucked, fuckin' morons...wait, i lost my point in there somewhere...fuck...
Its ZANY. I like it. MonsterFLAKE, sorry I didn't make it to the Christmas party. Next year ill be there for sure. Nick
The least he could have done, was something crazy with the headers. Like it or not, there be some long ass hours in that there Mo'chene !!! Gotta give him his respect for going his own way.
could it be just the headers or the bodywork that's making me sea sick....or both...all those curves and waves....
personally, I dig it... then again... that may be the fact that I'm 14 years old and still have hot-wheels and like this sorda' stuff... I wouldn't say that it's going to be any show winner in terms of style... but... that things just bitchin'... it goes it's own way and you could park that in front of a Wal-Mart, or Target, or where ever the sell hot-wheels and matchbox stuff and you'd have a line of kids... all of whom would hopefully be hooked on hot-rods... Besides... I would think, it's generally stuff like this that gets kids into hot-rodding... sure... we may toss a second glance at a hopped-up Model-A when we're young... but... think of a kid who's six years old sittin' in the back seat of his mom's van... he sees this thing rumbling down the street... headers cacklin'... screamin' paint... sinister stance... you've got a kid hooked on hot-rods... I say congrats to the guy building this... those headers are to slick (although... I must agree... too much back-pressure???)... this isn't my favorite rod... but it's still a nice ride... my two-pence... Troy.
At least he's doing something. good car, lot of thought process. Thats what we are supposed to be for something diffrent. While I wouldn't build it dosen 't mean I don't like it.
I don't know, it's different and has alot of work in it, but theres a few things I can't get into about it just does not flow smooth enough for my taste like the square roof with rounded bodywork, like the square peg in the roung hole thing. That hemi, to me, belongs in a hot-rod or racecar, cool motor though. And those headers? I have build quite a few sets, and I like flow not really into spagetti. I once tryed a set that had a little bit less than a 90 degree bend for the down pipe and that bastard popped and farted like no other, way too much backpresure, but I build some flowing deflector plates that I welded to the collector block off plate to direct the exhuast to flow smootly down through the down pipe, and cut a whole second of my ET. I notice that those headers come to a point and dive back at way more than a 90, negitive like a triangle, and I think it's gonna put a hurting on that poor motor. I will go as far as saying I don't like them for 2 reasons, looks and performance. Nice smooth flowing zoomie style headers poking out the fenders would probably sound and flow way better IMO but then again it's not mine. Not doggin, I respect it, the work, time and money, but I also don't like pink except for where it belongs if ya know what I'm sayin. One day if I ever get the chance to have more money then brains, I may try a "Hot Wheels" type car just for fun. Not tryin to start an E rumble, just my $13. bucks and 2 cents..Someone had to build it. Good Luck.
I find it hard to believe that the same fabricator that did the exhaust and frame work did the body work. I don't get the point of the headers but it is nice work. I wish I could say the same for the body work.
It's gonna run like shit with those headers. But I don't think knocking a second off the ET is the point. Just like that tiny lil cut-up A coupe, I like it and the more the upper-end guys hate it, the more I like it. But that bodywork does look like shit, lol. Nothing that can't be worked out though. And it did piss off some guys over at the ForwardLook.net site.
No one said that this is the finished product for fuck's sake. I am sure it will be spiffy when it is finished. Maybe this is why you don't see as many project pics posted anymore. God forbid someone show something "in progress". A keg, why didn't I think of that? I think it is only in the midwest that we think about how much beer we can carry during the build process.
I'd drive it...And it'd stay pink too...got a buddy that had a pink Chevelle in high school....said he got more tail with a pink car than ever before or since....
Exactly!! the body work still isn't near done and by the time it is it'll look smoooth. i'll try and snag some more updated pictures soon
nice style ...this thing will look sweet when that body work is done. I hope you are gonna keep the pepto-pink on it. Usually i hate pink, but on a very few cars, i can dig it...this is one of those few. and those headers? well, how do you know unless you try it. Just my $.02 Rocco
