Another day, another Oldsmobile, another Venturian. This gem from D'Agostino.

  6. That's a Richard Zocchi car. He did a number of cars in pink and purple. Front view.

I wholeheartedly concur! Can anyone confirm the builder or owner?
I thought likely Rick Dore. Not certain.

Worse, it started life as a convertible Mercury!
You can see the... development...of the beast here. And a rather amusing build write-up.

BUT Frank Maratta was a talented and active hot rodder... as currently noted in the Ugly Kustoms thread. He built some Nice stuff.

That Lincoln may be an all time top five.
The T reminds me of one of my Favourites. Chester Sapala T.
It is still around and was sorted out by... wait for it... Roy Brizio... Go Figure!

I've never liked that car. I think the chop is poor since it has no flow and is just a big bubble, and the lame spider web fender skirts are dorky.

  24. Roy Brizio and company build some really nice cars, and they have put some pretty famous cars back on the road. Roy appreciates the history of these cars, and won't change them from what they were.

Amazing output, so many exceptional cars.
The fact that the build team members are credited on the Brizio site... Rad.
Not always the case in these industries.

I don't know where this Coupe image came from.
I don't care if the colour isn't 'True' ... maybe just a result of film&stock-fading-digital translation deceit. Maybe not.
It doesn't matter. As it looks right here. Perfect.
