Man you hit the nail on the head. I used to work on automatic and manual wind watches, but pinstriping intimidates me for some reason. Still jittery unless I have a few beers first. Btw...what is the cheapest mean of practice you guys have heard of? I need alot more practice but I really don't want to screw up everything in my garage trying to pinstripe it. I've heard some people use a piece of glass. What about a few sheets of hobby board? Anybody tried that or have any other ideas?
Alright guys , I tried it , and I think it turned out pretty good , I figured that if I wanted a real whole hearted try out of myself , I had better try on something I didnt want to screw up , so , I tried it on my car , the one in my avatar , and I had my flame job on the car , but it hadnt been outlined , and I pinstriped one side , and left the other side to see the comparison , what do you guys think , I know it aint like the veterans of pinstriping , but , I think it looks pretty good...
Not bad. Quill, Hair and ferrule has most everything you need.....www.qhf.com. Talk to Ryan, Tell him Russ from Charlotte sent you. Also www.coastairbrush.com
Outline looks way better. If you've got Mack brushes, give the Kafka a chance. I use mine more and more. Kafka has a lot of videos on youtube explaining how to use his stuff. Keep up the practice
