Has anyone on here ever pin striped a denim jacket? If so, what kind of paint did you use? Will One-Shot work? I have an old club jacket that I want striped on the back.

  2. Hey Steve:
I have a denim jacket that's airbrushed but I doubt that you could stripe one using conventional methods.I have a friend in M***achusetts who does s***ched striping designs on denim.I had some pics of them but lost them when my computer got changed over.If you like I can get in touch with him and have him e-mail you some info.
I striped a T-shirt once with 1-Shot(while the guy was wearing it!)but it didn't come out very good.
My wife has a denim hat that she has had a whole bunch of stripers do work on but with fabric paint.Looks good but isn't very durable.

A Beugler would do it no problem.

Finding someone who has one is easy, finding someone who can make it work properly isn't.

Since you can't wipe it off,you only have 1 chance to get it right.
I'd sketch the design on the jacket in chalk,
then follow the lines with a Beugler.
The advantage of using a Beugler would be that you could press down
to force the paint into the fabric.
Using a regular brush would paint on top of the fuzzy fabric surface,so the design would not as durable.

Another option is silkscreening, but difficult to justify for a 1 off.
