Driving back from Wisconsin last night in the dark and rain, I spotted a '57 fin sticking up over a hill next to the road. The place is Yester-Cars in****berland and they have a TON of old cars there, just sitting out in the elements rotting away, and a lot of them are REALLY valuable (there's a Chrysler 300C convertible, I couldn't believe it...) If you want to see the rest of my pics, they're at URLs http://www16.dixiesys.com/~admin16/car/oldcars01.jpg through oldcars22.jpg. They're all pretty much stock though, except this one, it was like a '49-50 Studebaker pickup (with stacks coming up behind the cab!). I've always loved these...
Do you have any info on the prices of the Chryslers? I love the '55 St. Regis and the '57 300 is to much for a Chrysler nut to wish for. But, it never hurts to ask. Well, sometimes it does when your pocket book contains nowhere near enough to purchase all the toys you want!
Do you think he will sell the slant nose Stude, and how much? My father-in-law has been looking for one for ages. If you call on the Chrysler, can you ask about the Stude as well? Thanks...
If that St. Regis is for sale, it's MINE I kinda think it isn't though, judging by where it was parked and that it had stuff in it. I'm gonna stop by there again on Monday during business hours, so I'll ask about everything then.
