I got a stack of these at the "estate sale" (he was still alive) of an old Model T restorer about 25 years ago.

Now that right there are some right proper louvers IMHO. The clamshell shape (versus the squarish furnace cover ones) look great.

Those were stamped out at SAR on a layout that I designed. I really like them, but they sure make body and paint difficult.

Imho, for what it is worth, sometimes when I look at pinstriping it is too easy to go overboard, less is more etc. That said there are some amazing talented pin liners out there. Just wish I had the talent to do it and the patience, cheers

Another vote for Mitch , he can do it all, I didn’t want a Schneider Cams decal, so painted it. We have traded work for 25 years, he is a buddy. image000000.jpeg

Some place I have pics I took 15-20 years ago of a 59-60 Buick that belonged to a pinstriper from SW Wisconsin. (Black River Falls?)
Every panel was painted and story goes when he needed more space for new art he would paint over something he did already.
Was what I would call a custom as he had had his hands on every part visible like carb, m/c etc.
    Any one remember this guy.
    Will dig up these pics.
And pretty sure this car still exists. Tucked away in central MN.
