Pinstriping

  1. Turpentine is a bit harsher than mineral spirits and can dry out or damage your brush. I use odorless mineral spirits to clean, neatsfoot oil to preserve my brushes. A good place to find a brush is Chico on ebay. He's a dude who custom makes brushes, and sells 'em cheap on ebay. Got my #1 dagger today, pulled some beautiful lines with it. Good luck, now post pics of your work!

I've been using johnson's baby oil to store my brushes........heard about using motor or trans oil back in the day, figure if they used that stuff, this couldn't do any harm.....:D:rolleyes:

  3. You gotta eat it, sleep it, kill it, hate it, worry about it, make love to it, do it over and over and over until you finally get a feel for it then....you have to perform in front of people. And as for that art thing, some stripers hate it when I say this. The day I quit being an artist is the day I started making money.

If you want to learn how to market yourself and succeed as a Pinstriper, go to my pinstriping website and see what I'll be doing later this year.
