Hello Been a while since I posted on here. Been sick.

Anyways I have been working on a 354 Hemi and was wondering if anyone knew of a place other then Hotheads to pick up Piston Rings. The rings are .040. I tried to get on to the Hothead forums but they seam to be down for me for past 6 months. I can find the rings on Rock Auto and such for 392 but not for the 354.

    Thanks for any advice

I found std, 20, 30, and 60 at Northern Auto Parts. You picked the wrong size bores!

(Hastings number is 2M636-oversize for moly rings, 636- for plain iron)

I mean if your engine had one of the other bore sizes, you'd be able to find rings pretty easily. Sorry for the confusion.

    Did you try calling hotheads?

No I haven't called hotheads yet. I am waiting for a guy that sells hasting rings on ebay to see if he has any. Last year I found them everywhere. If I had a 392 they are everywhere but 354 no go

I have called hotheads in the past and some one has always picked up and been very helpful. Not sure why the website is down.

Kanter Auto Parts. Heck they have full rebuild kits for hemis.

  10. @41rodderz , We also deal with Kanter Auto Parts as a master distributor and they also buy from us in the same manner. Also, don't forget about HotHeads (early hemi specialist) in N.C.

In the wildly unlikely event the above suggestions yield nothing, I had good service from Deves in Las Vegas.

As squirrel notes in post #2, Hastings has the rings. Have your parts guy order a set or look at ebay

That's weird. I just went back and looked at my purchase history and I have about a half-dozen orders that I placed during the timeframe that you say that the website was down. They were all through the website.

I have never seen it down. I wonder if this was a DNS issue, or a problem with your ISP.

I have three 354s coming together right now, all with those parts.

Now if Ross would get yo my piston orders....
